The Pabst Theater Group (PTG Live Events LLC) in Milwaukee Wisconsin is seeking an individual to manage Partner Relationships, Group Sales, and VIP Sales in its venues. The ideal candidate for this position will be a talented, passionate, and enthusiastic individual who is innovative and challenges traditional thinking. You must have the ability to manage relationships, deliver on promises and help to grow the the B to B side of the business as well as manage the Group and VIP areas of our business. Our expectation is that each and every one of us provides a flawless delivery to our clients and customers, so that they walk away from our venues with a positive experience that makes them want to return again and again. This is a full-time position based in Milwaukee, WI.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

●      Manage, maintain, and implement Partners/Sponsors relationships, Group Sales,
        & PTG VIP Program guidelines

●      Create customized proposals, presentations, and promotional materials

●      Create sales plans to increase revenue

●      Develop annual event(s) to assist in achieving revenue goals

●      Submit prospect activity reports, forecast reports, & provide briefings to management

●      Handle contracts, contract revisions, and servicing

●      Invoice clients and track payments

●      Interface with various departments

●      Inspire customer loyalty by building strong relationships with clients through follow up and support

●      Periodically attend shows to service clients in attendance

●      Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

●      5 years of Sales or Partner Management Experience

●      College Degree from an accredited university

●      Proficient in Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

●      Team player with a positive attitude

●      Strong written and verbal communication skills

●      Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail

●      Ability to multi-task & work independently in a fast-paced environment

●      Must be respectful of other team members’ contributions and importance

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Part-Time Positions

Artist Hospitality

Overview:
PTG Live Events, LLC, more commonly known as The Pabst Theater Group, is a multi-faceted entertainment organization that hosts over 600 live events annually across six venues in downtown Milwaukee: Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Miller High Life Theatre, Turner Hall Ballroom, The Fitzgerald, and the occasional offsite event/show. The Pabst Theater Group is dedicated to providing top-notch hospitality to world-class artists and patrons alike. This is a union-represented position in collective bargaining.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

● Set up, break down, and attend to catering service(s)

● Set up and prepare dressing rooms according to the rider and instructions of the DOS manager

● Clean and break down dressing rooms at end of show

● Laundry

● Dishes

● Operate elevator

● Furniture and supply set up and tear down of dining room, dressing rooms, and prep areas

● Cleaning and sanitation as needed throughout shift

● Select and play appropriate music for tour’s backstage listening pleasure

● Ensure refreshments are replenished throughout the day for barista, production and touring crew

● Well versed in the food prepared by the kitchen team

● May be required to prepare basic food platters per rider requirements and requests

● Acting as a brand ambassador for PTG

● Prepare and distribute stock for tour buses. This includes but is not limited to; bags of ice, bagged meals, etc.

● Shop out riders per management request

● Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned by management, to ensure effective utilization of company resources and to ensure customer satisfaction

 

Qualifications:

● High School Degree or equivalent

● Applicants must be 21 years of age or older

● Great communication and customer service experience

● Outgoing personality and professionalism with customers

● Excellent organization and time management

● Must be available to work multiple shifts per week; weekend and evening availability strongly preferred

● Must be okay working in loud conditions as well as some heavy lifting

● Cash handling skills

● Hours are part-time and can vary dramatically week to week - the perfect job for students, or those who already have another full or part-time job

● Interest, degree track, or participation in any facet of the live music or entertainment industry a plus, but not required

Box Office Clerk

Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Sell tickets, process ticket exchanges or refunds in person at the box office window or by phone.
  • Answer customer service inquiries whether in person at the box office window, over the phone or via email.
  • Process/package tickets to be shipped or held for will call.
  • Update, organize and clean Marquee tiles.
  • Cash handling and daily deposit reconciliation.
  • Complete special projects as needed.
     

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • One year of customer service, ticket sales, or clerical related work.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, Google suite and other related computer skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong sense of team and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.

Dishwasher / Prep Cook

Primary Responsibilities:
● Keep entirety of the dish area clean and sanitary
● Ensure each piece of cookware, dishware, silverware leave the station clean and sanitized
● Close dish station at the end of shift using opening/closing procedures checklist
● Assist Chef and Sous Chef with food prep on busy show days when extra help is needed.
● Assist kitchen staff in maintaining a clean kitchen while following proper sanitation guidelines


Qualifications:
● Related work experience is helpful, but not necessary.
● Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods of time, and working long hours in hot conditions

Event Staff Lead I

Overview:

Responsibilities:
● Direct event staff with nightly duties as given by the Manager on Duty or Department
Heads
● Direct nightly front of house setup and teardown as given by the MOD
● Assist other departments and staff with additional tasks as needed
● Assist with onsite special events such as meet & greets, VIP receptions, etc.
● Assist staff and patrons with issues that occur where management is not present
● Train new event staff at events

Security Staff

About Us:

The Pabst Theater Group (PTG Live Events LLC) in Milwaukee Wisconsin is seeking an individual for their Event Management team for operation in its venues: The Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom and the Fitzgerald, as well as outside events promoted by the organization. Responsibilities for this position include communicating directions, enforcing parking permits and venue rules, acting as a greeter to PTG’s venues, controlling venue access for artists, staff, and patrons.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly independent, efficient communicator and a strong team player with the energy and professionalism to handle any situation our business inherently encounters.

Event security or staffing experience is helpful, but is not a must for the position.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Access control to both interior and exterior locations in all venues
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. 
  • Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. 
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Checking credentials and screening individuals entering venues
  • Assisting tours and production staff with parking and street management logistics
  • Assist Event Operations and Production teams with other duties as assigned

Street Team - Volunteer

Overview
PTG Live Events, LLC, more commonly known as The Pabst Theater Group, is a multi-faceted entertainment organization that hosts over 600 live events annually across five venues in downtown Milwaukee: Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, Miller High Life Theatre and The Vivarium. The Pabst Theater Group is dedicated to providing top notch hospitality to world-class artists and patrons alike.Street Team members are responsible for distributing promotional materials (flyers/posters) at various locations, venues, and events around the Milwaukee area. This is an unpaid position based out of Downtown Milwaukee.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pick up flyers at designated pickup location(s)
  • Distribute flyers at locations on designated route(s) and other areas as assigned
  • Take photos of flyers/posters at these designated locations
  • Capture cell phone videos at Pabst Theater Group shows

Qualifications:

  • Must have a reliable method of transportation
  • Must have a reliable smartphone with HD and/or 4K video capabilities (most phones within the past 3-5 years)
  • Must be eager to talk to people about live music/events and willing to approach and interact with people they may not know
  • Must be available for 2-3 hours each month to complete designated route during local business hours of operation
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Willing to travel to various parts of the Milwaukee area
  • Prior street team experience is preferred, but not required
  • Passion for live music, culture, and social media
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation:
This is an unpaid volunteer position. However, if accepted onto the street team, you will have access to free tickets for shows at Riverside Theater, Pabst Theater, Miller High Life Theatre, Turner Hall Ballroom, and the Vivarium based on ticket availability
