Venue Audio Operator

Overview:

A full time hourly position consisting of mostly evening hours on weekends. Mandatory
vaccination is required. Present from start to finish for 90% of 125 shows a year primarily at
assigned venue however able to work any PTG Live events. Maintain department assets,
manage workflow, maintain primary venue infrastructure, and follow show procedure.
 

  • Large scale audio design and setup
  • Complex audio operation control utilizing Digico, Avid, Yamaha, Midas, L’Acoustic, and D&B
  • Truss rigging and cable design and setup
  • Professional understanding of audio components Consoles, Crossovers, Mics, & Clearcom
  • Electrical knowledge of load balancing and distribution of large 3 phase power systems
  • Awareness of industry-standard OSHA regulation, ANSI standards, and NEC.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer and IT in both Mac and PC
  • Self-motivated friendly strong communication skills
  • Willingness to teach potential future employees
  • Artistic problem solving of both people and equipment

Accountant

Overview

PTG Live Events, LLC, more commonly known as The Pabst Theater Group, is a multi-faceted entertainment organization that hosts over 600 live events annually across six venues in downtown Milwaukee: Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, Miller High Life Theatre, The Fitzgerald, and The Back Room @ Colectivo. About the Position

The Pabst Theater Group is seeking an Accountant to join our team. You will be responsible all accounting functions for an assigned group of departments within our organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise the organizations' payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations across multiple business units and payroll schedules
  • Manage the financial reporting for assigned departments
  • Research costs and trends for assigned departments
  • Record revenue and expenses according to departmental procedures
  • General ledger maintenance and perform monthly reconciliation of assigned accounts
  • Assists in month-end close, analysis of financial statements and annual budgets
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports and schedules
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Gmail

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field required
  • Three to five years relevant work experience preferred

Bar Back

Description

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be supporting the bartending staff by setting up bars for a service shift, stocking products, and performing some light cleaning. The Barback position is a great starting point for career growth within the Bartending department

Requirements

  • Some service industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Applicants should have a flexible schedule. Hours are part-time and can vary dramatically week to week with the possibility of up to 30 hours per week during our busy season, the perfect job for students, or those who already have another full or part-time job
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift/carry on average 25 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods of time and frequently ascend/descend stairs
  • All employees must be fully vaccinated

Bartender

Description

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be serving beverages and concessions in high volume while also providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • Heavy service industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Applicants should have a flexible schedule. Hours are part-time and can vary dramatically week to week with the possibility of up to 30 hours per week during our busy season, the perfect job for students, or those who already have another full or part-time job
  • Must have valid/current bartending license 
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be able to lift/carry 10+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • All employees must be fully vaccinated

Security Guard

Overview:
The Pabst Theater Group (PTG Live Events LLC) in Milwaukee Wisconsin is seeking Part-Time Security Guard to provide and enhance security services during events for operation in its venues: The Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, and Miller High Life Theatre.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Access control to both interior and exterior locations in all venues
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
  • Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Checking credentials and screening individuals entering venues
  • Assisting tours and production staff with parking and street management logistics
  • Assist Event Operations and Production teams with other duties as assigned

Qualifications for this position include:
