Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with a proven track record
of success in the live entertainment industry. This role is responsible for creating
innovative advertising campaigns that will serve as a strategic roadmap for our shows.
The ideal candidate will have a deep level of knowledge of different advertising
platforms and an ability to analyze data to formulate insights for the most effective
targeting and platforms we should use for each show. This position manages a
high-volume of shows in a fast-paced environment and is critical to the success of our
company.


Primary Job Responsibilities:
Your primary mission is to increase market share and convert interest into ticket sales.
● Develop comprehensive advertising plans that incorporate digital, social, radio,
TV, OOH, and email marketing campaigns
● Act as the primary marketing liaison for agents and artist management teams for
assigned venues, ensuring professional communication and brand alignment
● Track ad campaign performance in real-time and provide insights to the booking
team, agents, and artist management teams
● Analyze the success of media campaigns, social engagement, and grassroots
efforts to optimize sales
● Foster relationships with local media outlets, influencers, and partners to
coordinate high-impact promotions and contesting
● Pitch local media outlets for interviews, previews, and reviews of assigned shows
● Ensure all content and public-facing materials are proofed, professional, and
consistent with our brand voice
● Act as the project manager for your assigned shows and events to ensure that all
aspects of the marketing plan are executed and produce results
 

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
● 3 - 4 years in live event marketing (theaters, clubs, event spaces)
● Deep understanding of digital media placements and expert-level brand
management across social platforms.
● Knowledge and experience marketing events in the Milwaukee area.
● Exceptional written and verbal skills; ability to present complex strategies to
high-level stakeholders.
● Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
● Highly organized person who enjoys working on multiple campaigns at the same
time and can balance tasks effectively
● Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite
● Proficiency in Project Management software, CRM tools, and ticketing platforms
● Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills

Box Office Lead II

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Box Office Lead II assists the Box Office Manager with the development and management of all box office staff to ensure a friendly, welcoming, and consistently excellent standard of customer service. This role ensures efficient ticket sales, accurate cash handling, and a seamless guest experience. The Lead II acts as a key resource for Box Office Associates and assists management with training, troubleshooting, and operational oversight.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds and proofs within the ticketing system, including full event builds and promotions. 
  • Manages Box Office staff during regular hours of operation and during events.
  • Assists the Box Office Manager with current staff and the onboarding of new staff, including training sessions.
  • Compiles and distributes financial Box Office reports.
  • Compiles and completes weekly/bi-weekly cash reporting, daily ticket count reporting and programming.
  • Collaborates and works with departments outside of the Box Office to support efficiency across the organization.
  • Develops policies and proficiencies for the Pabst Theater Group’s primary ticketing system and applicable partner programs, thereby increasing efficiency and stronger interfaces with our patrons.
  • Leads a team of Box Office staff.
  • Fosters a work environment that encourages a culture of high performance focused on improving operations and providing quality customer service.
  • Acts as a resource and point person when needed in assisting with problems and covering shifts.
  • Adheres to all safety standards. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of demonstrated team leadership.
  • Two years of customer service experience.
  • Two years ticketing systems and advanced venue box office experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Advanced reporting and programming experience strongly preferred.

Usher

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The usher position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patrons attending events. This role ensures smooth entry, seating, safety, and overall satisfaction of attendees. Ushers act as the first point of contact, assisting with directions, ticket verification, and enforcing venue policies while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides guest assistance by greeting and welcoming patrons as they arrive at the venue.
  • Assists guests with finding their seats and navigating the venue(s).
  • Provides information about event schedules, amenities, and venue policies and procedures.
  • Checks tickets for authenticity and correct seating.
  • Directs guests to the appropriate entrances, sections, or VIP areas.
  • Assists guest with accessibility needs, including ADA seating and accommodations.
  • Monitors crowd flow and ensures adherence to safety regulations.
  • Reports any suspicious activity, hazards, or incidents to security or management.
  • Assists in emergency evacuations as directed by House Manager and Event Staff Management.
  • Distributes programs, flyers, or promotional materials as needed.
  • Assists with post-event clean-up and resetting of the venue.
  • Adheres to all safety standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Wedding Lead

  • Coordinates with internal teams including operations, box office (if applicable), security, custodial, and food & beverage partners.
  • Oversees event setup, ceremony transitions, reception flow, and breakdown.
  • Ensures all décor, layouts, and logistics align with approved plans and venue guidelines.
  • Supports vendor load-in/load-out, staging, and adherence to venue policies.
  • Troubleshoots issues in real time with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Coordinates with event staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintains a strong, calm, and customer-focused presence throughout the event.
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations, liquor laws, and company policies.
  • Protects the integrity of historic venues by ensuring proper use of spaces and equipment.
  • Adheres to all safety standards.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in event coordination, hospitality, or wedding execution.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
