Food Friday: The Sweet Life

If you follow us on Instagram, you know we LOVE our pastry chef, Julie. She’s been with us for 11 years and keeps on (literally) whipping up treats that continue to amaze us and the artists that visit our venues - it’s not abnormal to find them in the comments on both our page and hers, singing her praises!
So this week, we hit her up for another sweet Food Friday, and as always, she’s giving us big ol’ heart eyes with these treats (and tears, because we have to just look at the photos while ‘My Heart Will Go On’ plays in the background and we hold our laptop close, wishing we could eat them):

A new chocolate chip cookie recipe she’s been working on, that’s “less pancake-y” than many others.

White chocolate creme brulee. It’s like we can hear the magical crackling sound from here!

What’s better than a yellow cake with vanilla buttercream frosting? A mini yellow cake with vanilla buttercream frosting.

Coffee, raspberry and lemon macarons. While it’s true that humidity, buttercream and meringue don’t exactly work well together, Julie nailed it. We would take down that entire plate of stunning cookies in one sitting.
