Supporting Those Who Served

May 20 / 2026

At the Pabst Theater Group, we believe in the undeniable power of live entertainment. Whether it's the shared laughter at a comedy show, the collective energy of a rock concert, or the breathtaking beauty of a performing arts production, live events have a unique way of bringing people together, reducing stress, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

That’s why we are incredibly proud of our ongoing partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix), a national nonprofit dedicated to supporting and honoring the U.S. military community, veterans, and their families.

Through this partnership, the Pabst Theater Group has proudly donated over 40,000 tickets to currently serving military members, veterans, and their immediate families.

What is Vet Tix?

Vet Tix operates on a simple but profound mission: “Give Something to Those Who Gave.” They team up with major sports teams, promoters, organizations, and venues like ours to provide free tickets to currently serving military, honorably discharged veterans of all branches of the U.S. armed forces, and the immediate families of those Killed in Action (KIA). Today, Vet Tix is the largest veteran-focused nonprofit in the country, boasting over 2.6 million verified members (affectionately known as "VetTixers") and having distributed over 37.6 million tickets across all 50 states since 2008.

The Real Impact of Live Events

Our military personnel shoulder unique burdens of sacrifice and stress. Millions of veterans live with service-related disabilities, and many have endured multiple deployments. The physical and emotional wounds of service can stay with our heroes for a lifetime. Supporting their transition back into their families and communities is a gift of gratitude in which we can all take part.

Attending live events can play an important role in that process. It helps veterans:

  • Strengthen Family Bonds: Vet Tix provides multiple tickets so veterans can attend events with their loved ones, offering crucial re-bonding moments and positive shared experiences.

  • Build Social Connections: Whether it’s grandparents taking grandkids to a family show, a couple enjoying a date night concert, or friends laughing together, these positive community experiences help veterans reintegrate into the neighborhoods they swore to protect.

  • Foster Pride and Identity: Recognition through access to events helps affirm veterans’ service and supports a positive sense of identity after military life.

Because Vet Tix offers such a diverse range of events, entertainment remains accessible to veterans of all ages and physical abilities.

Our Commitment to Our Heroes

Every time a veteran or service member walks through the doors of the Miller High Life Theatre, Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, or Vivarium using a Vet Tix ticket, it is our way of saying thank you.

We are committed to giving back to those who have given so much. By opening our doors to our nation’s heroes, we aim to provide moments of joy, relief from daily stress, and opportunities to create lasting memories with the people they love.

How You Can Help

We all have the opportunity to express gratitude to the men and women who have served, while helping create moments of joy, connection, and healing for them and their families.

  • For Fans & Community Members: Join us in showing support. You can honor our troops by spreading the word, donating tickets you can’t use, or making a one-time or monthly donation to Vet Tix through their website. Together, we can help our veterans feel proud of their service and welcomed back into the communities they fought so hard to protect.

  • For Service Members & Veterans: If you are a currently serving military member, a veteran, or an immediate family member of a troop KIA, we encourage you to sign up and get verified today at VetTix.org.
