Adia Victoria is an American singer and songwriter born and raised in South Carolina. She is known for her “gothic blues” musical style that tells stories of her life as a Southerner. Victoria’s new album, A Southern Gothic, is a historical montage, as well as a modern prophesy that represents the relationship that many people, especially Black women, have with life in the South.
