Paw Paw Lawton and his jigsaw band is the brainchild of Milwaukee’s longtime songwriter Brian Miller. Formed in December of 2023, Brian invited 11 of his long time friends to record Paw Paw Lawtons debut “KANSAS” in his home studio. With pedal steel, fiddle, drums, bass, 5 vocalists, acoustic and electric guitars a true country sound was born. The group has expanded to 20 plus members as Paw Paw Lawton released the follow up “TORNADO” a year later. On July 17, Paw Paw Lawton celebrates the release of his 3rd and 4th albums at the historic Pabst Theater. “Ghost Light” is a collection of 7 new original songs, and paw paw plays 68 is a collection of 8 country classics that were released in 1968.
The Whiskeybelles
Roots Country Music, Born of Gin Halls and Juke Joints – Hank Williams passion, Carter family harmonies, with a little Hee Haw mixed in for good measure. The WhiskeyBelles are a traditional country and Americana trio based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Belles are widely known for captivating shows featuring their own take on classic and obscure vintage-country, Americana, folk-revival and roots-country tunes, with their own witty originals sprinkled in. They’ve been compared with the Pistol Annies, Dixie Chicks and Trio (Dolly Parton, Emmy Lou Harris & Linda Ronstadt). The 'Belles have personalities as big as the Texan skyline - they have a great time on stage, and love to share the fun with their audience.
MATT” MF” TYNER and his dogs band…DON JUAN and the PAWNSHOP GIGOLOS… Are made up of Milwaukee's finest musicians from touring and local bands. When they are in town…we get together and play. We are Influenced by old Country and Americana…shows are spontaneous and unscripted…the moment brings out the best of these amazing performers…DIG!
God’s Outlaw is a Wisconsin rebel country band that built its name the old-fashioned way — years of hard miles, dive bar stages, festivals, and songs that sound lived-in instead of manufactured. Blending outlaw country, rockabilly grit, and working-class storytelling, the band leans into the spirit of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings without feeling like a tribute act chasing nostalgia. Whether they’re playing a corner tavern or a packed festival stage, God’s Outlaw comes across like a band that means every word they sing.
